    Our Philosophy of Care

Our approach is educating and empowering patients, working together to achieve personalised goals, with empathy and compassion.
You can expect a passionate team, an inclusive environment and clear communication.
Our patients gain the confidence to take charge of their health, achieve their goals and improve their overall function.

    What is Osteopathy?

Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopathic Principles are the dominant guiding forces behind every Osteopathic treatment. They are what makes Osteopathy unique in the modern health care system.

    • The body is a unit – Health and disease reflect the integrated functioning of the whole person, not isolated parts.
    • The body possesses self-regulatory and self-healing mechanisms – The body has an inherent ability to maintain and restore health when functioning optimally.
    • Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated – Problems with the structure (bones, muscles, tissues) can affect function (physiology), and vice versa.
    • Rational treatment is based on an understanding of body unity, self-regulation, and structure–function relationships – Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and medical care are guided by these principles to support the body’s natural healing.
